Bob Feller, Cleveland Indians, 9/22/1948
Cleveland Indians 5, Boston Red Sox 2
Yes, that attendance does say seventy six thousand, seven hundred and seventy two fans through the turnstiles at the old Municipal Stadium. I went to about 10 home games in the summer of 1991, and I don’t think there were that many fans in all of them.
